My story

My life stands as a testament to resilience and triumph over adversity, rooted in my unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. From the very beginning, my existence was met with rejection, as my father resented my mother's pregnancy, considering me an unwanted burden. Even before my birth, my mother, influenced and coerced by my paternal grandmother due to her young age, contemplated terminating the pregnancy. Yet, fate intervened, sparing my life despite the perilous attempts made to end it.

Born prematurely, I faced health complications stemming from the attempted abortion. However, despite these obstacles, my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ infused my life with profound purpose—a purpose that the enemy sought to obstruct by attempting to prevent my birth altogether.

Throughout my upbringing, I witnessed firsthand the relentless abuse my father inflicted upon my mother, and I made it my mission to shield her from harm. With unwavering determination and the guidance of God, I found the strength to protect her and ultimately break free from the cycle of abuse. I was violated from the ages 4 to 12 years old. The same man who violated me (my uncle) also shot my former pastor eight times for violating my young male cousin. This significantly impacted my suffering.

Through my faith journey, I discovered the power of self-love, and I imparted this wisdom to my three beautiful children, teaching them to protect themselves and recognize the signs of a predator. Despite the trials I faced, I found love and happiness in marriage to the love of my life. God granted me victory over those who sought to harm me, and I learned that there is life beyond the pain, that we can declare an end to generational curses, and that all things work together for our good when we trust in Him. These truths have shaped my journey, guiding me from darkness into the light of hope and redemption.
